The Whitgiftians Under 8s had their final Tag Matches ever at the Twickenham and Westcombe Park Festivals. Despite missing many good players we were unbeaten at both Festivals with the scores:

Standouts on the day at Twickenham were the Leadbitter twins and Bobby at Twickenham with some excellent finishes from Cameron, straight running from Tom C, determined defence from Tommy T and attack from William, Straight running from Pranjal and Sam H and great support play from Luke.

Meanwhile at Westcombe the story of the day was defence. We nearly nilled Old Colfeians with 6 turnovers in one game and great defence was a feature throughout with Noah H, Thomas K and Alfie B leading the way. In attack Sam P ran some great straight lines, River made some great long range runs, James Banwell was excellent in taking the ball on, Akash was as elusive as ever, James H ran straight as an arrow, Charles ran in a length of the field try and Sebastian scored a lot of tries through good support running and mazy runs.

The players had a great time and are please that .......there is no more Tag!
