Old Whitgiftian RFC

Our Under 13 team trains every Sunday from 10am to noon. We play an introductory form of contact Rugby in line with the RFU Rugby age group rules which means we will play 13-a-side on a smaller pitch. Our emphasis is always on fun and small sided games designed to help players develop the skills they will need to play Rugby as they get older. Each week we start with a warm up before playing a range of passing, tackling and evasion games. We try our best not to subject players to Rugby ‘drills’ and our emphasis is on fun and enjoyment as we want our players to really get the Rugby bug!
